To offer all of our patrons a warm and welcoming truly unique customer experience, where you can relax and enjoy our affordable, local, handcrafted wine or spirits in a quiet country setting, surrounded by our vineyard, beautiful landscape & breathtaking waterfalls and Serenity pond.
History
We are a family owned business that began in 2010 with only 50 plants. TYCOGA Vineyard was established in April of 2013. Our initial intent was to only grow grapes & to sell them.
One day, a dear friend & his wife, stopped by and gave their phone number to our son, Tyler. John & Karen told Tyler it looks like you might need some help-we had NO idea who these folks were. Ben did call them and after long talks and learning about grapes, our 1st plants produced a small crop.
John told Ben these are wonderful grapes-you need to make wine instead of just selling the grapes. We ended up planting many, many more grape plants. We now have over 26 acres of plants. TYCOGA Vineyard & Winery was then established in 2014. We opened the TYCOGA tasting room on December 20, 2014. The final construction was completed in April 2015. Our Distillery portion started in 2021, which then changed our name to TYCOGA Winery & Distillery.
We now have over 20 different types of wines from Dry to Sweet. Our wide variety of mainly ESTATE produced wines allows us to showcase wines to both the novice and the experienced wine drinker. TYCOGA Winery & Distillery has entered the Finger Lakes International Wine Competition every year since 2015 and we have won awards every year, including bronze, silver, gold & double gold metals. We now offer mixed drinks made with our Vodka, Whiskey & Gin.
We are very excited for the future and what TYCOGA has to offer. We enjoy meeting every person and sharing our story. Come in as Strangers & Leave as Friends!!
